A secluded oasis tucked within a charming courtyard of Georgian Terraces, offering the perfect escapism to the stresses and strains of urban life

This much admired Spa and Restaurant combines urban-chic with the feel of a luxurious country home; blending the original structure features of the former Victorian Lido with modern furnishings, you know from moment that you enter you are somewhere rather unique.

The Lido Spa offers you a range of Spa Treatments or use of the Spa facilities to relax and unwind; if you are a visitor to Bristol and looking for somewhere to stay whilst here, take advantage of our ‘Spa Breaks’ offer, in conjunction with Brooks Guest House.

The focal point of the Lido is the heated 24-meter outdoor pool, heated to just the right temperature and always inviting, no matter what the British weather serves up. With a sauna, steam room, spa pool and terrace it’s no wonder our guests seem oblivious to the hours as they slowly tick away.

The poolside bar and terrace serves breakfast from 8am Monday to Friday and 9am on weekends, serving breads, jams, and pastries made fresh daily in the Lido kitchen; muesli, granola, yoghurt and fruit for the more health conscious or the indulgent Lido bacon sarnie…to name but a few.

From midday the display morphs into something you might expect in a Spanish tavern, with a selection of hot and cold tapas to tempt any palette; In particular, the Butternut Squash and Feta salad or the Wood Roast Scallops, Garlic butter and Sweet herbs are something to be savoured.

Wash it all down with a glass of your favourite tipple, loose leaf tea or real coffee.

The Lido restaurant opens daily from 12pm-3pm and 6:30pm-10pm; situated in the old Victorian viewing gallery and overlooking pool, it serves carefully sourced, rustic food inspired with flavours from Southern Europe and the Middle East.

The menu changes regularly and draws inspiration from the seasonal produce on offer; all cooked over charcoal and wood in the wood-fired oven.
The Lido has enjoyed rave reviews from foodies and respected food critics alike, so it’s no surprise that more and more people are discovering this hidden gem, inconspicuously nestled in the quiet backstreets of Clifton.

See you soon.
