A recent addition to the Clifton Scene is The Spring Garden Tavern. Previously Demi-Lune (a french restaurant) the Tavern is now a down to earth pub. The proprietor has some good plans ahead. But most interestingly is the introduction of live music every friday night. The artists, a mix of soloist and small bands start around 8.30pm and play til late into the night. It seems to be targeting students but there is a nice mix of all ages and when the summer returns they have a very nice beer garden too.
